I currently have the APEX-I Super AVC-R boost controller installed in my RX-7. I bought it when it was brand new on the market. It has a nice silver finish, but really doesn't match anything in the car. I think for cosmetics sake I would of preferred a different color, but I was buying for functionality and not looks. The AVC-R has a lot of bells and whistles which over the past 2 years I have learned to use, but not sure I really need it. I had to take some time to tune the
AVC-R, but was worth learning about. The boost controller features Fuzzy Logic, Multiple Digital and analog gauges and a shift control where the unit actually knows when you are going to shift and anticipates it so you will not get a boost spike. You can set the gauges to match the ignition system of your choice all in the self contain unit.
