Installation of SR MOTORSPORTS' Aluminum Radiator

The following is some information about how I installed my new SR MOTORSPORTS' aluminum Radiator in my 1993 FD3 RX7. SR MOTORSPORTS and I are not liable for any misinformation on this page and will not be held responsible for any damages to your car. This page is strickly for informational purposes. Every car my very in modifications and Configuration. What I have listed below is a step by step instructional of how I installed my new radiator! Please feel free to use the information in any way you please.



Upper radiator hose

Step 10:

Unclamp the upper radiator hose, lower radiator hose, and hose line that connects to the AST. Now you are ready to remove the radiator. You might want to double check and make sure you disconnected everything connected to the radiator!

    Step 11:

    Pull the radiator out with the fans and this is what you should have. This is a picture of the car witout a radiator.

    Step 11a:

    This is a picture of the stock radiator out of the car with the fans still on it. There are 3 10mm bolts on top of the radiator that holds the fans in place. You will need to remove them and take of the fans.

Step 11b:

Here is a picture of my new SR MOTORSPORTS Aluminum Radiator. Take it out of the box and get it ready for the fans.

Step 11c:

I could not resist, but to take a side by side comparison of the two radiators. The new radiator is as big as the stock radiator with the fans! That is 100% bigger than the stock radiator!

    Here is another shot of the radiators at a slightly different angle.

    Here is a back side picture of the radiator. I am now preparing to bolt the fans onto it.

Step 13:

Here is the fans bolted up to the SRM Aluminum Radiator. There are 3 10mm bolts that hold it in place on the top of the fans.
